Student Quotes
I learned so much. I learned how art has such a big impact on people and this world. I knew art was important but never thought it was this important. I learned so many new techniques to help me when I'm stressed. This class was a really fun thing to experience. ~ Bradley
Thank you for doing such a great job and always spreading joy and happiness through the class. I am so glad that I took this class it has helped me to this day, and I can't even imagine how much it will help me in my future. Thank you so much for inspiring me to make a difference in this world today. We need more teachers like you. :) ~ Ella
I learned more about how art is beneficial for all different people, whether they have mental health issues, memory issues, or no issues. Learning all sorts of things about art as a tool for therapy has been very informative, and I've liked learning about it. I think the most valuable thing I learned was how doodling while taking notes really is beneficial because I always doodle when taking notes because I felt that it helped me but didn't know that it really does help you in more than one way. ~ Alexis
My biggest take away from this course was definitely that busy work, doodling, or simple scribbling can help calm me and focus more on what is going on around me. I learned that a lot about how art can help people discover themselves and express themselves in new ways I would never have thought of on my own. I learned a lot about myself. Some of the days while in class I was going through some of the most stressful things outside of school, and this class helped me regain my focus on what really mattered to me and it also helped regain my self worth. ~ Mya
I think the biggest takeaway from this class is I realized that I enjoy making art. I used to make art as a kid but over time I stopped making art. By taking this class I have realized that art helps me calm down and focus. ~ Owen
I would recommend this course because it honestly could change your whole view on art. To be honest I hated art because I thought I was not good at it. Taking this course helped me realize no one is bad at art. It brings us through our own personal journey in a present moment. This expression is truly amazing. ~ Madeleine
GUYS! This course gives you a break from regular classes. ATW allows you to focus on your health through art instead of trying to live up to the state standards like other classes. Plus this class is unique to Chi-Hi!!! ~ Hannah
